Northeast Ohio shoppers hit the stores for Black Friday deals
Published at : December 01, 2021
Black Friday is back and Northeast Ohio shoppers hit the stores for the best deals. According to data from RetailMeNot, 62% of shoppers said they planned to shop on Black Friday.
The shops at Beachwood Place were closed on Thanksgiving Day. General Manager Heidi Yanok saw the shoppers out in full force when they opened on Black Friday.
“Black Friday is much busier right now,” she said. “But even over 2019, we’re seeing people wanting to be out and about.”
Yanok said most of their shops opened at 9 a.m. on Black Friday. At around 11 a.m., she said they were outpacing foot traffic in the mall compared to the same time on Black Friday in 2019.
